We start with a conversation about your goals, relevant health information and whether massage is suitable. We agree what the session will include before any hands-on work begins.

Do I need to undress?

Only to a level you feel comfortable with. We discuss clothing, positioning and towel coverage before the treatment. Only the area being worked on is uncovered.

Does massage need to hurt?

No. Tell me if the pressure is uncomfortable or you would prefer a different approach. You can ask to pause or stop at any point.

What if I have a medical condition or am pregnant?

Please discuss this before arranging a session. Massage is not always appropriate, and I may recommend speaking to your GP or another healthcare professional first. Not every treatment is suitable for every person.
